Responsibilities
In this position, you will be part of MKL
build/integration team and work directly with the Intel® Math
Kernel Library product. The challenges for this group are to put
into place processes and practices that help drive automation,
continued improvement of the build environment, and help retain
high product quality. You will integrate features, build libraries
for different platforms and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac
OS), automate and improve these processes, and support the overall
infrastructure.
Qualifications
You must be a Ph.D. student or an undergraduate in at
least your fourth year at university with a strong background in
numerical computation and information technologies.
You must have strong programming experience and the
following skills:
- Excellent working knowledge of scripts and
makefiles
- Excellent knowledge of SW development tools such as
compilers, debuggers, linkers, librarians, etc, from Intel, Gnu,
Microsoft and other vendors
- Familiarity with C, Fortran and assembly code for Intel
processors
- Extensive work experience with Windows, Linux, Mac OS
operating systems
- Familiarity with the BKMs for developing, testing and
delivering high quality software
- Good English skills and the ability to communicate (oral
and written) well issues, status, and plans
Desirable skills include:
- Familiarity with Sun Solaris operating
systems
- Familiarity with OpenMP and SMP parallelism
- Experience with distributed memory parallel software
(MPI) and systems
- Engineering/math software such as FFTs and linear
algebra
