Responsibility:

• Performance analysis of radio resource and mobility management algorithms in 4G wireless networks including: RRM & MAC interaction with Phy and Application QoS.
• Power allocation and control.
• Channel quality measurements; Load control.
• Develop analytical and simulation models using Matlab and C/C++.
• Track the latest 3GPP developments, generate IPR and provide standard contributions.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have proven expertise in formulating and solving optimization problems, analysis of algorithm complexity.
• Ideal candidate will possess strong background in applied mathematics and wireless communications system design.
• At least 1 year experience in algorithms development and proven track record of research activity.
• Preference will be given to a candidate with a PhD degree from a leading university in one of the following areas: electrical engineering, physics, telecommunications, algorithms development, digital signal processing, mathematics.
