Role Purpose

 
The key objective of the EMEA GPS Team Manager role is to proactively drive awareness and usage of the Microsoft Partner Network Technical benefits. This includes Presales and Deployment advisory services by the Russian speaking Partner base. This will be achieved by closely engaging with all relevant Partner touching organizations such as Partner Marketing, Partner Sales, EOC, Telesales as well as the wider GPS delivery organization. Typical engagement activities will be presenting the services portfolio at Partner conferences and seminars, meet up with key subsidiary stakeholders to discuss business engagement opportunities as well as to address potential partner opportunities/business escalations. 
 
Further the EMEA GPS Engagement TM will own the overall Russian GPS service operations delivery strategy, build up a new delivery team from scratch and own the service operations. He shall provide operational guidance and business intelligence to ensure that our delivery teams are able to deliver services tailored to the needs of the Russian market space. Part of these duties will be also to own the Russian GPS scorecard, conduct regular business reviews with key Russian SMS&P subsidiary executives and follow up on all required action plans to drive scorecard to green.
 
 
As part of his business development duties the GPSD Engagement TM will provide business value to the sub and be in charge of the design, implementation and release of customized service offerings in close collaboration with the EMEA Operations Management team and its global counterparts. The main is to drive further business value to the Partner base to further optimize the efficiency and service quality of our existing operations.
 
The GPSD Engagement TM shall be in charge of small team of Technical Leads who shall help him drive the day to day operations and Partner and subsidiary interactions.
 
 
 
Key Accountabilities
 
 
·        Own the MS Russia GPS Subsidiary Engagement
  • Act as Line of Business Single Point of Contact for the Subsidiary
  • Articulate GPS value proposition and service boundaries
  • Effectively communicate subsidiary needs and expectations to mgt and respective delivery teams
  • Act as point of escalation for subsidiary business requests
 
·        Business Development
  • Proactively seek for opportunities to drive value to Partner base in conjunction with subsidiary and the EMEA Operations Mgt.
  • Initiate and own service delivery projects with the goal to optimize the business value of our exiting offerings
  • Own service delivery efficiency/quality improvement projects
 
·        Operational Excellence
  • Ownership the GPS Subsidiary Scorecard and core KPIs
  • Set KPI priorities to Russian GPSD Delivery teams
  • Conduct monthly reviews to track progress against scorecard
  • Derive action plans as needed to drive score card to green
 
·        Service Demand Generation
  • Proactively drive the awareness and usage of the MPN technical benefits
  • Adopt/customize service delivery processes to the needs of the local subsidiary
  • Proactively drive awareness e.g. Participation in Partner events, phone outbound, Service Newsletters, etc
 
·        People Management
  • Build up and manage a team of 6 to 10 Presales and Technical Consultants
  • Responsible for all aspects of people management such as ( regular 1 to 1s, commitment setting and performance reviews, career development)
  • Motivate, develop and lead the team
  • Optimize usage resource usage
 
Experience / Qualifications should include:
 
  • Good understanding of service operations, partner offerings and the Microsoft product and solutions portfolio
  • Proven Marketing experience
  • Excellent proven relationship management and account management skills
  • Influencing skills – ability to influence the behavior of others without having a direct reporting relationship
  • Project delivery skills – ability to act successfully in multiple project roles – project participant / project manager / project owner
  • People Mgt skills- ability to lead and motivate teams .
  • Communication skills – ability to communicate in written and verbal forms with a senior management / executive audience. Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops etc… with diverse cultures
  • Analytical skills – ability to understand key metrics and the operational drivers of those metrics
  • Breath of technical knowledge in Microsoft product line
  • Good understanding of quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, 7 Step
  • Working knowledge of corporate and regional organizations.
  • Educated to degree level in business or related discipline.
  • Good working knowledge of English and fluent in Russian
  • This position requires 30% of travelling
