DuPont – Corporate Growth Team
Construction Industry Leader – Eastern and Central Europe
Key Deliverables:
- He / She will initiate , manage and follow up a pipeline of sales leads for businesses involved with construction via connection with / on Key Construction projects in Eastern and Central Europe with key focus on Eastern Europe. Metrics: # leads generated
- He / she will establish connection with influencers an specifiers so that construction codes, norms and standards increase # of DuPont products to be specified. Metrics : # of norms modified or # oproducxts specified .
- He/She will coordinate Marketing activities with all DuPont Business representatives dealing with construction industry . # of Marketing activities.
- Identify possible synergies among businesses to improve DuPont offering for Construction Industry. Developproposals for Regional Director Eastern and Central Europe and Business Leaders how to capitalize on those synergies.
- Improve exchange of information and, as a consequence, cooperation among DuPont businesses.
Job Description Information:
- Assist with Strategy
- He / She will assist the Regional Director with regional corporate strategy elaboration in the Construction industry and get direction from the Construction Board lead on priorities.
- Generate leads
- He / She will be expected to manage/foster pipeline of sales leads with a direct focus on generating early leads for the relevant businesses and ensuring that the businesses follow up on these leads in order to turn them into the net profit ($).
- Connect and Support with Businesses
- A member of the Eastern and Central European Growth / Development Team, the Construction Industry Leader will play a key role in leading, developing cross-businesses marketing, development and sales initiatives as well as driving business growth in the Construction industry in Eastern and Central Europe with main focus at Sochi Olympic Games and European Football Cup as well at Infrastructure projects.
- Identify possible synergies among businesses to improve DuPont offering for Construction Industry. Developproposals for Regional Director Eastern and Central Europe and Business Leaders how to capitalize on those synergies.
- Improve exchange of information and, as a consequence, cooperation among DuPont businesses.
- He / She might also coordinate any projects of significant importance in Eastern ( main focus) and Central Europe.
- He / She will be part of an European wide Construction network lead by the European Construction expert driving efforts related to the London Olympic games.
- External awareness
- He / She will coordinate Marketing activities with all DuPont Business representatives dealing with construction industry and will be the interface with customers and end users of DuPont within the region in order to identify new development opportunities for DuPont products in construction industry
- He / She will work take the lead in representing DuPont on any activities connected with norms, regulations, specifications, standards.
Responsibilities:
- Establish industry contacts and serve as a one-DuPont interface and lead large construction and infrastructure development projects.
- Lead market analysis and opportunity identification process.
- Lead and facilitate business growth and develop a strong business position within the region, by working together with the Strategic Businesses, the Country managers as well as the local sales & marketing teams.
- Lead and Follow up on infrastructure, commercial projects and construction initiatives like:
- Olympic Games in Sochi 2014
- European Football Cup
- Lead and Initiate Customization and adaptation of European marketing programs to the Russian and Eastern Europe market
- Create pull demand via connect with influences (designers, architects, etc.)
- Key account management at select large multi product companies ( in charge of creating demand and managing transactional activities)
- Be industry expert within DuPont and lead /represent initiatives at national, industry and Company levels regarding regulations, norms, standards, code.
- Being the interface between the market and DuPont Construction Network.
- Be a member of an internal European DuPont industry network.
Requirements:
- We are looking for a result-oriented person with solid construction industry experience, opened personality, charisma, good personal and interpersonal skills, ability to network inside and outside the Corporation.
- Must: be fluent in English, have worked in an international environment, having connection in /with construction industry, and preferably someone with a Civil engineer, a construction or an Architect background.
- University background, ideally technical / business combination
- Project management experience in construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of construction regulations, norms, standards
- Ability to build trusting relationships externally and internally
- Self drive and Self starter
- Self-discipline
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven Leadership skills .
