Multinational FMCG is opening the position of Manager Business Analytics & Commercial Support, Russia
Job Role:
As a member of the GEA finance team, this position will work closely with the Country Manager for Russia. The position will also work with regional marketing and sales development managers and distributors. This position is to provide adequate business and analytical support, business development to operate the distribution and brand building efforts of company products in the Russian market by creating and maintaining effective business reporting and analyses in the areas of planning, business performance analysis, pricing, profitability, cost management, supply chain, sales analysis and brand investment effectiveness.
Main tasks:
- Planning and performance analytics: Develop annual budgets and track performance as well as quarterly projections; Support brand and country management
- Support for Distributor Management: Establish and track minimum depletions requirements and other metrics as required
- Price and profitability: Develop and maintain analytics and reports to support management to understand the profitability of channels, accounts, brand and SKUs
- Cost analyses: Control and understand and optimize selling, general and administrative expenses
- Brand investment effectiveness: Support brand teams with reports and analyses to understand the effectiveness of brand building activities
- Production Planning and Logistics Support: Work with LVL Logistics and European based logistics resource and distributor partner to develop sales forecasts that feed into the production planning system; Provide required analytics to enable proper logistics/customer service business decisions
- Sales analysis and support: Assist Country Manager and other regional personnel in understanding sales performance by brand and channel; Assist in the preparation of the annual country plans and provide underlying analytical support for sales strategies. This will extend into understanding the wholesaler and sub-distributor channel and evaluation of the execution of distribution strategies across Russia
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or CPA plus 4-5 years of relevant business experience; or 7 years equivalent education/general business experience combination. Master’s in Business Administration is preferred
- Solid accounting, financial and people management experience with FMCG
- Ability to understand key issues, think strategically and conceptually as well as to analyze complex structures
- Superior analytical and mathematical skills with ability to make sound business decisions independently
- Superior oral and written communications skills and ability to present complex issues in a simple manner; fluency in the English language and a solid working knowledge of Russian
- Familiar in working with foreign currencies, exchange rates, and conversion factors
- Experience with PC and mainframe computer applications in accounting, budgeting and valuation techniques; experience in working with SAP, Business Warehouse or similar software
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Compensation:
- 150000 – 180000 rub. + social package
