The Role

• Senior Active Directory (AD) and Server Infrastructure Administrator reports to IT Infrastructure Manager
• AD and Server Infrastructure Administrator performs the following duties:                                   
•          Provides for seamless data replication and synchronization between PwC Russia Offices
•          Keeps inventory of all PwC Russia server equipment
•          Provides for regular servers maintenance and performance monitoring
•          Provides for regular backup and restore operations
•          Provides for regular account related tasks: create, update, delete, grant permissions
• Identifies potential servers performance bottlenecks and makes proposals to their remediation
• Operates as HelpDesk service line two
• Maintains up-to-date documentation regarding server infrastructure architecture, design, and configuration
• Participate in to the country and CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) level infrastructure projects
• Cooperates with Network Administrator team in order to provide permanent server network connectivity
• Maintains server security according to PwC Global IT Security Standards
• Provide work place coaching for the team members
• Regular CEE AD administration duties

Skills and Knowledge

• Minimum of two years experience of large IT infrastructure administration (50+ Windows servers, 1000+ PCs)
• Drive, ambition for new knowledge, result oriented
• Profound understanding of principles of operating systems architectures and designs:
• File system architecture
• Multitasking/multithreading
• Operating system security
• Networking capabilities
• Large scale back-up/restore solutions
• Ability to write scripts of moderate complexity in order to automate OS administrative tasks
• Thorough understanding of general computing concepts and features that are present in Window Server 2003 OS and AD:
• X500, LDAP, RADIUS, TCP/IP networking principles, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, other
• Follows PwC Change Management procedure in regards to server equipment and applications
• Profound knowledge of HP ProLiant servers architecture
• Good awareness of Blade server technologies
• Working knowledge of VMware software
• Experience in systems recovery
• Profound understanding of principles of modern data storage systems (RAIDx)
• Good awareness of modern data storage products available on the market
• Good awareness of datacenter server technologies
• Basic project management knowledge
• Good written and spoken English
