The Web Director will be responsible for all web-activation points for business:

  • Marketing Communications direction (currently there is a web marcom manager which will be supported by +1 manager within few months. They will be reporting to Web Director)
  • Web Sales Platform
  • Web Care (Customer service)
  • Integration of other web activation points: internal and external (e.g. product portals, regional portals, project portals, intranet etc.)

 The goals and responsibilities of the position are:

  • Develop web-strategy, including KPI dashboard
  • Create web team
  • Create a web budget
  • Audit existing web activation points
  • Integrate web activations into overall process and platform(s)
  • Tender and contract suppliers and partners
  • Responsible for taking a lead in strategy and implementation of:
    • Web activation points in marcom
    • Web sales
    • Web customer care
    • Other web activation points: internal and external (e.g. product portals, regional portals, project portals, intranet etc.)
  • Increase share of web sales
  • Evaluate use of web in other channels like retail (cross-selling, product information)
  • Monitor and improve sales channel performance over the web
  • Initiate and coordinate web sites (federal, regional, sales, promo) improvements regarding design and non-sales functionalities (customer service, entertainment)
  • Initiate and lead/supervise projects on operational improvements (hosting & monitoring capabilities, search related functionalities, overall system support from order processing to  delivery)
  • Cooperation with HQ web department and regional web managers/marketing managers
  • Working in close cooperation with:
    • Sales director
    • Product director
    • Customer operation director
    • Billing and IT director
    • MarCom director
    • CCO

Profile: 

  • Excellent knowledge of web solutions
  • Knowledge of strategic frameworks and competitive landscape in e-commerce industry (not only telecom)
  • Previous relevant work experience (E-commerce / Senior consultant in e-commerce or telecom practice)
  • Leadership experience
  • Project management skills (both practical and analytical, i.e. business case modeling)
  • Business mindset / analytical skills
  • Presentation skills (secure presentation of strategic concepts and analysis results in front of partners and senior management)
  • Very good English skills (oral, written)
  • Very good communication and networking skills
  • Outgoing, good at dealing with local markets (diplomatic but convincing)
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Minimal experience in relevant positions 3 years
