Job’s Purpose: - The Business Planning & Operations Director acts as the trusted senior advisor to the BMO Leader and marketing management team for orchestration across all business groups within a subsidiary – both internal and external to the BMO organization.
- The BPO Director ensures increased transparency and integration across all groups and creates leverage for the BMO by supporting the planning, measurement and review of business operations (including fiscal year planning & budgeting, mid-year reviews and quarterly business reviews).
- Drives and orchestrates successful marketing metrics reporting and interpretation in conjunction with marketing business owners including ensuring proper use of common definitions and scorecards:
- Orchestrates cross-subsidiary business and marketing planning cycle including fiscal year planning, mid year review, budget and quarterly ROB (local and corporate)
- Drives local market understanding through market and competitive intelligence
- Orchestrates and stewards a rolling 3 year cross-subsidiary growth strategy built on market, competitive and internal factors
- Operates mission critical data, process systems and tools across the subsidiary and through connections with Corporate IT
- Ensures appropriate change management rigor when deploying new systems, processes and tools
- Manages key business areas such as marketing budget, BIF
Candidate Profile: - 8 – 10 years of related experience
- Higher Education Business or Marketing Degree, Information technology, computing related
- At least 5 years of practical experience in marketing.
- Proven skills in financial and IT management.
- People management experience is required.
