Through a network of offices in over 180 countries, the Government of Canada fosters relations with other nations and offers services to promote trade, Canadian business and culture abroad. The Embassy has full responsibilities for the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan. Our Mission actively promotes political, commercial, development, educational and other links with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. In addition, the Embassy's Canadian International Development Programme covers all five Central Asian republics, including Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. CIDA has chosen Tajikistan as one of its countries of particular interest.
