We’re OWN.space a startup based in Berlin, Germany and Innopolis, Russia. OWN.space enables effective team work of humans and artificial agents. OWN.space is a visual intelligence interface for data-driven collaboration between teams of knowledge workers and artificial agents that help the teams to analyze big data sources. OWN.space is cloud-based, pushing the vision to provide AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS).

OWN is a spin-off of Germany’s Fraunhofer Society, Europe’s largest organization for applied research. We are the winners of the SAP/Capgemini startup competition 2016 (using SAP Cloud and HANA DB), winners of the € 250 K IPRIZE of Innogy (2017) and member of programs with Microsoft and IBM. Since 2017, OWN runs a subsidiary company in Innopolis, Russia.

Our technology stack includes the Play Framework (Java), MongoDB, Redis, Amazon S3, PostgresDB, a Python based agent framework, front ends in React and native apps in iOS and Android. We are running on Amazon AWS and SAP Cloud Platform and use Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, Jira and GitHub.

In our international team all communication, spoken and written, is English. We’re very flexible in many ways but greatly depend on the results of your work and expect you to be highly committed and motivated. We are excited by what we do and so should you.
