We are looking for specialists having multi years experience in optics and/or laser systems.
Job description: Design, assembly and optimization of new optical components for diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers. Installation of working prototypes of new DPSS lasers.
Hands-on experience with lab characterization, including laser drivers, optical metrology (spectrometers, oscilloscopes, and free space optics), and time-resolved measurements.
Start-up/shut-down high-power laser system, alignment, diagnostics, troubleshooting.
Modeling the device structure to predict performance or substantiate hypotheses for unexpected observations.
Strong aptitude towards process development with emphasis on Laser equipment development and design validation.
Detailed daily documentation of all work conducted and procedure changes on the laser system.
This includes adjustments and improvements of beam profiles, collimation, and pre-defined parameters relating to energy, pulse duration, contrast, and Strehl ratio.
