The project consists of constructing 42 KM of Link Sewers under the island of Abu Dhabi. This is constructed with Tunnel Boring Machines varying in diameter from 400 mm to 3100mm. In addition to the drives of the TBM's, there is a construction of over 300 shafts which will later become permanent manholes for the jacking and recovery of the TBM's. ------- The role is to manage all aspects of the Contract, from payments from the Client to commercial negotiations with Sub-Contractors. Strabag - Zublin International - ------- This project is the Design and Construction of a Utility system spanning a length of 8,662m. Within the tunnel system we are responsible for all services including but not limited to potable water, fire & irrigation, chilled water, telecommunication, fire alarm systems and IT network. My role is defined as a variation and claims manager. I administer claims for the company which are deemed to be additional to the original contract and main scope of work. This involves the following: * Preparing all backup information in relation to claims. * Pricing of variations. * Management of Quantity Surveyors for daily QS duties. * Writing narratives and citing contractual clauses for entitlement. * Providing evidence of completed work. * Negotiating claims with PQS and Client representatives. In addition to this I also price and negotiate Client Change Requests and liaise with other departments for additional time and cost implications. We prepared Bills of Quantities for such changes along with programs and material delivery and procurement schedules.

Afval Energie Bedrijf - - Contract Position (1 Year) 500 Million Euro power station which converted the municipalities waste to energy. This was a major civil's project that was based at Westport in Amsterdam. I specifically dealt with the plant rooms and pump stations that would pump water from the port through to the main power stations cooling plant.
