Middle QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the existing automation solution and propose architectural improvements

• Refactor and stabilize the current test automation suite

• Develop and maintain reliable automated regression and integration test cases (using Python, Pytest, Playwright)

• Ensure test coverage of new features by designing and implementing new automated tests

• Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to integrate automated tests into the development workflow

• Set up and maintain test environments to support automation needs

• Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and provide structured test reports (e.g., via Allure TestOPS)

• Collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to continuous process improvements

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns used in automation (Page Object, Factory, Strategy, Builder)

• Proven experience in developing, configuring, and refactoring automation frameworks

• Practical experience with REST API testing (automation, validation, mocking) using Requests and Pydantic

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control (GitHub)

• Experience with reporting and test management tools (Allure TestOPS, JIRA, Confluence)

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to stabilize and optimize test automation

• Strong communication skills — able to present information clearly and concisely

• High attention to detail, commitment to quality standards, and ability to reflect complex business logic in tests

• Ability to work independently: plan tasks, estimate efforts, report progress, and proactively research and introduce improvements

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Python-based test automation (Pytest, Playwright)

• English level: B2 or higher
