Logistics dispatcher

Core Responsibilities & Duties:
• Manage company drivers and owner-operators
• Create a plan for each driver daily, adjusting as necessary
• Dispatch drivers and obtain confirmation of acceptance of loads
• Monitor the movement and pace of drivers
• Ensure owner-operators are completing the work assigned
• Assist drivers with day-to-day issues such as carrier-to-broker, loads updates, lanes management
• Communicate any delays related to pickups/deliveries and other issues affecting the company performance or carrier-broker relations
• Ensure that equipment is picked up from the mentioned facilities and returned to deliveries promptly, avoiding additional costs and charges from the brokers
• React quickly and accordingly to day-to-day operational challenges
• Looking for a new brokerage opportunity, Amazon ROC personnel, mechanics, and other providers to resolve immediate problems
• Monitor and reply to group dispatch emails appropriately
• Driver gross is set forth by Operation Managers, including drivers' productivity, on-time performance, and on-time updates
• Oversee safety-related items for assigned drivers such as HOS (Hours Of Service), truck inspections, E-logs, weather conditions, etc.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by the upper management

Qualifications:
• Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work assigned shift of Monday-Saturday/Sunday reliably, must be flexible with time
• Prior Logistics or Dispatch experience is a privilege. (Minimum 2 years of Work Experience in the related fields)
• International/Import/Logistics (Routing, planning, and organizing) experience is an advantage
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all clients, team members
• Knowing local and Russian languages, and more advanced English language speaking and writing skills are a must
• Must be a minimum graduate year student at the University for a Bachelor's degree

Skills:
• The ideal candidate will possess a can-do attitude with a will-do work ethic
• Must have the ability to work under 10 hours of the shift. Stress resistance
• General computer skills - Google Sheets, Email, Telegram messenger top user, Amazon Relay, and Power DAT a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
