We are looking for a Lead QA Automation

We’re hiring a Lead QA Automation Engineer to work closely with our technical and agile teams in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. The project is for a leading manufacturer of original fitness equipment with an integrated web, mobile, and hardware ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy, drive progress against client-aligned prioritie, and oversee day-to-day operations of the Automation sub-team.
• Make expert technical decisions and provide hands-on support on complex challenges.
• Ensure smooth collaboration across all stakeholders, especially with the client side — to align goals, scope, and expectations.
• Mentor and develop the team—delegate effectively and balance workloads.

Requirements

Technical skills

• Good knowledge of basic programming principles and best practices.
• Good knowledge of at least one programming language (Java/Kotlin/Python).
• Hands-on experience with test automation in JavaScript.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave).
• Solid experience with UI end-to-end (E2E) test automation (Appium preferred).
• Ability to implement a test automation framework and organize its long-term maintenance.

Non-technical skills

• Strong communication skills.
• English proficiency (B2 or higher).
• Experience with planning and test automation strategy.
• Solid understanding of the role of test automation in the SDLC.
• Understanding of key test automation metrics.
• Mentoring experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with native mobile automation (UiAutomator2, XCUITest).
• Experience with UI test automation for Flutter apps.
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with API test automation.
• Experience with load testing.
