About the Project
Fuel card sales in the U.S. (all sales are conducted within the United States).
Project launch: March 2024.
Part of a logistics group: The project is a division of a U.S. trucking logistics group, which is the market leader in Uzbekistan.
The company is a registered IT Park resident with offices in Tashkent (two offices), Chicago, and Orlando.
Purpose of the Role:
The Financial Controller ensures the company’s financial integrity by overseeing accurate accounting processes, maintaining compliance with audit standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through reliable financial analysis. This role plays a key part in strengthening internal controls, improving reporting quality, and contributing to the long-term financial stability of the organization.
Key responsibilities:

Maintain the company’s full financial accounting cycle.

Prepare financial statements in accordance with audit requirements.

Ensure readiness for external audits and coordinate communication with auditors.

Develop, update, and enforce accounting policies and internal regulations.

Conduct financial modeling and planning to support business strategies.

Monitor data accuracy and reconcile financial information with operational systems.

Participate in automation initiatives and collaborate with IT/analytics teams to define requirements
Requirements:

3–6 years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and audit standards.

Proficiency with accounting software and financial data systems.

Experience with financial modeling, planning, and data reconciliation.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.

Preferred: ACCA F3–F7 certificates.

Preferred: Experience with QuickBooks Online or ERP accounting systems.
