Who are we looking for?

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant in Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) to join our team in Baku, Azerbaijan or Tbilisi, Georgia. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across internal audit, risk and control frameworks, and governance advisory while contributing to meaningful client work and internal initiatives.

You will be part of our GRCS team - a collaborative international and fast-paced group dedicated to helping clients strengthen their governance and control environments.

As our Senior Consultant in GRCS team you will:

• Assist in delivering complex engagements, taking charge of specific workstreams and ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

• Lead or support data analysis, storyboarding, client interviews, and problem-solving to develop insights and recommendations.

• Contribute to enhancing client practices by helping to optimize internal policies and reporting frameworks.

• Manage, inspire, and guide team members, contributing to capacity building efforts.

• Structure case problem-solving, assign tasks, and evaluate team performance.

• Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project deliverables.

• Contribute to the firm's growth by supporting the development of new service offerings, enhancing internal processes, and participating in marketing and recruitment initiatives.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on project tasks and professional development.

What we are looking for

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (local or international) in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 firm (preferably Consulting) or in an internal audit, risk, or governance-related role within business.

• Good understanding of internal audit practices, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance principles.

• Advanced or fluent English (both written and spoken) with additional knowledge of Azerbaijani / Turkish / Russian.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Practical experience working on project teams or client engagements.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems logically.

• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and client-facing environment

• Possess strong presentation, and client-focused skills, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to changing project needs.
