IFRS Accountant (remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accounting records for the company's clients in a specialized program (recording transactions, checking data accuracy, generating entries, working with bank statements, payroll calculations).
- Preparation of annual Financial Statements for the clients.
- Receiving, processing, and organizing primary documentation, working with electronic document management.
- Preparing and submitting accounting and tax reports (VAT) within the established deadlines.
- Conducting reconciliations with counterparties, monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Organizing and monitoring document flow for client projects: contracts, invoices and etc.
- Preparation of reports according to clients’ or business needs.
- Communicating with clients on issues related to their activities, advising on accounting matters.
- Participating in ad hoc project management: coordinating tasks, monitoring deadlines and the quality of work performed.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience as an accountant (preferably in outsourcing or international companies).
- Excellent knowledge of accounting, confident use of relevant software (1C, similar programs; we use Abacus and will provide training).
- Higher financial or economic/finance education.
- ACCA or CIMA qualifications would be an advantage.
- Experience with electronic document management: collection and systematic storage of project materials.
- Skills in independent accounting and reporting. Analytical skills.
- Ability to build effective communication with clients, competent written and oral speech.
- Proficiency in English (C1), knowledge of German would be an advantage. All our projects require knowledge of English for oral and written communication and working with documents.
- Responsibility, attention to detail, ability to multitask.
- Discipline and a responsible approach.
- Willingness to work remotely, stable internet connection.
Conditions:
- Employment under a civil law contract (provision of services), full-time (5/2 schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Zug time (CET) +1 hour summer time, +2 hours winter time to msk time).
