We are looking for an experienced and proactive leader to lead and develop a legal consulting team working with individual clients. This role combines strategic management and hands-on legal practice — ideal for a strong “player-coach” who can both set up efficient processes and personally handle complex cases.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize workflows within the legal department (task allocation, reporting, client handling, quality control
- Manage and mentor a team of lawyers and legal assistants — set priorities, conduct regular reviews, ensure knowledge sharing.
- Personally handle complex or high-priority client cases, acting as an expert and example for the team.
- Develop and implement standards for client communication, documentation, and legal service delivery.
- Oversee drafting, review, and execution of legal documents (contracts, powers of attorney, claims, applications, etc.).
- Ensure legal accuracy, compliance with current legislation, and high-quality client service.
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, marketing, finance) to align legal support with business goals.
- Monitor workload, performance, and client satisfaction; prepare analytical reports for management.
- Identify areas for process automation and continuous improvement in the department’s work.
Requirements
- Degree in Law; solid knowledge of civil, consumer, and procedural law.
- 5+ years of legal experience, including 2+ years in team management (consulting or service-based environment preferred).
- Proven experience building or optimizing legal processes from scratch.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills — ability to inspire, guide, and develop others.
- Hands-on approach: readiness to personally manage key cases and support the team in peak periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers.
- Strong organizational and analytical mindset, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Ability to combine legal tasks with those going beyond classic legal work, such as preparing clients for opening bank accounts, assisting with drafting personal documentation requirements, and similar tasks.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2C legal consulting or mass-service legal companies.
- Experience in working with assets of both legal entities and individuals, understanding various types of transactions (purchase and sale, investments, donations, property-related, transactions with financial or digital assets) and the ability to apply them correctly.
- Experience working with service providers (legal service providers, financial institutions, nominee service providers, etc.), understanding the specifics required for a wide range of needs and tasks.
- Familiarity with CRM and task management systems.
- Experience in process automation or implementation of legal tech tools.
