Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, while leveraging their knowledge of Navision to enhance financial processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports using Navision.
  • Account Management: Ensure accurate posting of transactions, including invoices, payments, and adjustments within Navision.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in accordance with accounting standards, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Navision Support: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics NAV to generate financial reports, assist with system-related queries, and ensure proper configuration for financial processes.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections in Navision.
  • Audit & Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring that financial practices align with regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis, using Navision for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and ensure that all discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in accounting operations, particularly leveraging the capabilities of Navision.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and compliant with local tax laws.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Purchasing, Operations) to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate financial data flow.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant, with at least 2-3 years of experience in using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including modules for finance, inventory, and reporting.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is a plus.
