We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our trucking company. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in FMCSA regulations, driver compliance, safety protocols, incident reporting, and drug & alcohol testing procedures.
Responsibilities:

Manage all FMCSA and DOT compliance

Oversee drug & alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion)

Monitor ELD logs, HOS, DVIR, inspections, and driver qualification files

Handle safety violations, incident reports, and corrective actions

Conduct driver orientation and ongoing safety training

Maintain accurate safety documentation and ensure all units meet required safety standards
Requirements:

Must have prior experience in trucking safety (FMCSA/DOT)

Knowledge of FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse procedures

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and stay organized
