Senior Data Engineer

Now we’re looking for a strong Senior Data Engineer to boost the client's team.

Requirements:

- English: B2/С1

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering

- Proven track record of successful on-premise MS SQL Server platform migrations.

-Ability to explain results and demonstrate them in an understandable form.

The project focuses on designing and executing a migration strategy for multiple on-prem Microsoft SQL Server instances.

Responsibilities include migration planning and blueprint design, SSIS-based data integration, dependency mapping, rollback strategy definition, and post-migration optimization.

The role also covers data architecture and integration tasks: defining data flows, optimizing data storage and retrieval, designing ETL pipelines (SSIS), integrating external systems (including MariaDB and MongoDB), and ensuring performance, scalability, and long-term stability of the target environment. Post-migration activities include performance and architecture reviews, HA feasibility assessment, and operational optimization recommendations.
