Our Client, International company engaged in sales, distribution of gripping systems and clamping technology equipment is looking for a Branch Director/Business development Director with attractive career opportunities.

Key requirements:

  1. Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Automation or similar from a recognized University
  2. Experience: Proven history as Sales Manager in Machine Tools, Tools or Automation, ideally gained partly in a foreign company
  3. Experience in personnel management
  4. Very strong managerial, analytical and leadership skills, capability in working out sales strategies
  5. Excellent presentation and communication skills
  6. Ability to interact successfully on senior management level
  7. Ability to acquire key customers throughout the various industry fields
  8. Experience in selling high-precision / high-value products, which do not sell through price but through their technical features, respectively potential for cost-saving, process reliability, etc.
  9. Work independently
  10. Good self-motivation
  11. Willingness to travel frequently within Russia and occasionally abroad
  12. Excellent English, German as additional language is welcome
  13. The candidate’s open-minded, social and cross-cultural competence allows the candidate to understand and convert a German company’s philosophy and combine this with Russia’s market requirements

Key responsibilities:

  1. Care of existing and acquisition of new customers in the relevant markets
  2. Active support of key accounts and large projects
  3. Support and cooperation with regional distributors
  4. Day-to-day management of the subsidiary, including responsibility for turnover, profit and HR
  5. Planning of marketing activities (exhibitions, advertisements, promotions, etc.)
  6. Exploration of new industries and business opportunities
  7. Cooperation with German head office
