Main responsibilities:

  • Managing all operational procurement activities, assist in developing process and procedures for Contracts & Procurement;
  • Leading special projects within operational procurement. The manager will have direct report to a Glensol General Manager and functional report to Chief Commercial Officer of the Group;
  • Responsible for a team dealing with all operaional trading activities, compliance and process;
  • Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined procurement and sales process;
  • Working with suppliers both international and local to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively;
  • Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers;
  • Contract management and negotiation;
  • Work with other memebres of the organisation such as legal and finance to assist in devloping and implement P2P initiatives to reduce transaction cost;
  • Manage special projects related to operational procurement and sales. Developing and implementing MRO supplies concept;
  • Preparation of the deployment plan for process and procedures;
  • Regularly conduct current state assesments to identify gaps and close them in accoradnce with Standard Operating Procedure;
  • Lead and coordinate Supplier Capability assessment process;
  • Implementing PSCM organizational KPIs related to opeartional procurement and establish the performance tracking process for entire team;
  • From time to time to be engaged in different Glensol's subsidiries and JV's for assiatance on procurements activities.

Education & experience:

  • At least 4 years experience in PSCM and sales with hands on experience in procurement and sales activities;
  • At least 2 years experience working with ERP systems (SAP Preferable);
  • Hands on experience with procurement processes and understadning the P2P and its proper implementation and monitoring;
  • Good understanding of the procurent processes and procedures in Oil&Gas industry;
  • Good understdanging of supplier quality management processes;
  • Team player with excellent communictaion skills, positive attitude and high energy;
  • Strong ability to build relationships and networks with multple functions and at the leadership levels;
  • Bachelor or Master degree in relevant education.

Essential criteria & qualifications:

  • MS Office knowledge;
  • Fluency in Azeri, Russian and English;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Problem solving skills, consistent and accurate reporting and formatting, team working;
  • Dynamic and creative, able to work on own initiative, strong in building relationships.
