Main objective and responsibility: to reach Sales targets set out monthly for the year ahead in volume of business and profitability.
Main Functional Accountabilities:
- Active search for new clients using all sources of info to find and gain new clients with profitable business to reach sales targets.
- Development of business relations with existing clients to grow volume of business and to improve profitability to reach sales targets.
- Plan weekly, prepare and run regular meetings/calls with existing and potential clients to achieve sales objectives
- Research and collect market data on potential business volumes to summarize information into reports and feed-back
- Managing commercial correspondence, communicate with customers delivering information on behalf of the company
- Coordinating contracts colcluding/changes process to meet commercial objectives of the company
- Making formal presentations using standard visuals aids and communicating in public (to customers)
- Building and developing business relations with clients/prospects in proper formal and informal manner to reach open communication on business topics
- CRM Database management to ensure 100% data quality by adherence to set guidelines and rules
- Reporting re sales plans and results, activities according to set rules/frequencies
- Higher education, logistics is preferable
- Successful work experience as active sales in logistics / seafreight specialist
- Excellent communication skills; business style behavior
- Fluent English – ability to negotiate in English
- Good skills in MS Office (especially Power Point)
- Self-confidence, open for socializing and networking, commercial acumen (focus)
