SWISSAM Hospitality Business & Culinary Arts School is looking for Receptionist.


  • Greeting and welcoming visitors to the Offices informing the relevant member of staff of their arrival.
  • Greeting of VIP guests
  • Monitoring visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • Answering, screening and forwarding any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
  • Responsible for all correspondence, arranging sending all internal school correspondence by post, courier delivery, receiving and sorting daily external mail/deliveries/couriers
  • Checking and signing for deliveries, before informing the relevant member of staff of their arrival.
  • Controlling student’s compliance with the grooming and uniform standards
  • Monitoring and ensuring that the reception area is kept tidy and in a business-like image.
  • In the event of a fire and/or any other emergency showing the fire exits to the students and staff and helping them to leave the building
  • Providing any useful information for the students and their parents related to the safety, health, and cultural activities.
  • Gathering information from departments and creating and updating school presentation (class schedule, calendar of events, birthdays etc)
  • Responsible for all Lost and Found items storage and handing over lost belongings to the owners
  • Executing all duties in a cost saving manner
  • Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating etc.



  • Higher education
  • Proven working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant software application
  • English – upper-intermediate (B2 level)
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Professional appearance
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure


  • Working experience in Hospitality is preferable
