Microsoft’s Small and Midmarket Solutions & Partners (SMS&P) group has an indirect sales model based on effective recruitment, development and management of partners. The role of Tele Partner Account Manager is a specialized sales and business management role intended to enable and support partner success.

The workgroup is dedicated to increasing revenue and improving Customer & Partner Experience by developing partner sales capability and capacity.


TPAM Responsibilities and KPI’s

  • Recruit competitive Hosters to the MS platform (partner types may also include Web VAP’s and ISV’s)
  • Activate existing top unmanaged SPLA partners

KPI’s that we will use to track TPAM performance (in some subsidiaries, Revenue has been added as a KPI):


  • Recruitment of New Partners

        Recruit 60% of competitive hosters on target list

        Recruit 10% of subsidiary WSS target.  As a WSS champ, recruit Web VAP directly or through Hosting network partners

  • Web Server Share

       15% attainment of incremental server units required to achieve share target

  • Licensing/Compliance

       100% licensing compliance for all partners supporting the Microsoft platform

       100% of Microsoft partners SPLA reporting 

       20 net new SPLA Essentials agreements

  • Platform Adoption

       1 Dynamic Data Centre deployment (in conjunction with CS)

       3 Hyper-V deployments

  • Developing Competency

        25 new partners with the Hosting Solution Competency

       90% of partners signed up for Hosting Community

  • Through Partner Marketing

        Identify 2 high potential partners/ Light house wins to drive Through Partner marketing campaigns

Requirements:

  • Higher Education or last year student of a Technical University
  • Intrest to develop in IT sales
  • Great presentation skills
