Responsibilities:

  • Be overall accountable for the creation and implementation of Employee acquisition & development strategy and related policies within MA RU&CIS
  • Be responsible to adapt BASF global approaches, policies and guidelines to local needs or escalate cases to global/regional teams where this is not possible due to local legislation
  • Cooperate effectively with other teams across organization to achieve business priorities
  • Lead Talent Review and succession planning processes
  • Ensure education of employees with performance management and employee development processes
  • Provide consultancy on Employee acquisition & development topics for employees and line managers
  • Ensure awareness of HR colleagues, managers and employees about Employee Acquisition & Development related processes and tools
  • Create strategy for employer brand on the local market and implement it
  • Enhance recruitment processes within the organization
  • Implement Management Trainee program
  • Conduct info sessions and other necessary training sessions
  • Participation in BU events by conducting A&D sessions for BU employees
  • Cooperate with providers in all above processes and ensure high quality of services received
  • Lead, manage and develop Employee acquisition and development team
  • Participate in other department projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience working in the manager positions in 2 areas: acquisition and LD
  • Team management experience
  • Good knowledge of features of adult learning
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Business Etiquette
  • Self-control, stress tolerance - the ability to work effectively under stress, external pressure and in changing environment
  • Systematic approach: systematization of processes, process management, resources and time
  • Focus on results: repetition of efforts in achieving goals and overcoming challenges, willingness to take personal responsibility for the quality of work

Special terms:

Short term contract for the period of maternity leave 1 year
