We expect that the candidate will join the Trading Platform Team to drive the quality assurance for a new algorithmic trading platform in order to achieve product quality goals: exceptional reliability and lowest latency of trading and backtesting workloads, flawless integration with exchanges, precise calculations and air-tight information security.

Responsibilities:

• Given high-level business and technical requirements, discuss all the related details with development and trading teams, perform the whole range of test design and planning activities;
• Design architecture of environments for integration and performance testing in coordination with DevOps team;
• Implement automated integration, performance tests and testing tools using Kotlin;
• Keep track of testing documentation and artifacts.

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in software quality assurance, preferably of high-performance/low-latency systems;
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies, approaches and tools;
• Understanding of computer systems and software architecture - x86 architecture, Linux operating system, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, WebSocket), data structures and algorithms;
• Extensive experience with Kotlin or Java;
• Hands-on experience with common SQL databases, experience with no-SQL DB will be a plus;
• Experience with Docker, CI, Bash;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, exceptional dedication to details
