The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Innopolis University is expanding and hiring instructors in the capacity of Lecturers and Assistant Professors. The position involves teaching, research and relevant managerial duties. We are looking for a professional who can teach effectively a very talented student body, attract research funds, and entertain a worldwide network of colleagues. The language of instruction is English.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree and published research in Computer Science domain are preferred.

• Focus on Artificial Intelligence, Game Development and Data Science is desirable.

• More specifically, we are actively seeking candidates who are willing to teach courses in Games specialty including Game History, Unity Game Development, Interactive Narrative, and Business of Games, etc. (in addition to Computer Science courses).

Responsibilities:

• Teach three to four semester-long courses to graduate students during the academic year;
• Lead research activities, advise and mentor students, and other activities related to developing and maintaining the intellectual and cultural environment of the University. Suitable support is provided by the University to publish papers, attend conferences, and supervise MSc. and Ph.D. students.

Compensations and benefits:

The initial appointment is 3-years with expectation for renewal with benefits, including the low taxation level of Russia (max.15%), 56 days of annually paid vacations, paid health care coverage, relocation, housing allowance, compensation of school/kindergarten.
