Position Summary:

As a UX/UI Designer at HEAL Security, you'll be creating intuitive and impactful user experiences for our cybersecurity products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and refine user experiences, ensuring our products are accessible, intuitive, and effective. Your expertise in user research, prototyping, and design systems will drive the development of engaging interfaces that resonate with our users and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Reporting into:

You will be reporting into and supporting the Lead Product Designer

You will have the opportunity to:

• Engage with our development team to craft and refine innovative product features. Your role will involve designing intuitive user interfaces.

• You're passionate about how technology can make a positive impact in the world and interested in working on an innovative cyber security SaaS product.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine UI/UX design strategies for our products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into compelling design concepts.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to guide design decisions.

• Ensure consistency in design language and adherence to our design system.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UX/UI design, particularly for digital products.

• Proficiency in Figma is a must, Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable

• Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and user-centered design principles.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

• Skilled in translating research into actionable design decisions.

• Excellent communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• You have previous experience designing user-centered SaaS products as a Product or UX/UI Designer.

• Self-motivation, accountability, and excellent time management skills to work efficiently in a flexible and remote-first environment.

• Willingness and ability to travel to internal gatherings and team-building events on an (at most) quarterly basis.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity or healthcare sectors is a plus.

• Start- up experience is a bonus but not essential.

• Communicate to gain a shared understanding – You communicate effectively across the organization and can facilitate difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders. You can listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders, interpret, and communicate with them.

• Work collaboratively – You actively network with others, enabling people to contribute to research, design and decision-making meaningfully and equitably.

• Contribute to our brand - Build and improve HEAL Security’s brand with your design and creative skills.

• Flexible – As a member of a small team within a new start-up, you must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and perform any reasonable task as directed by your line manager.

Working hours:

You'll need to overlap with the UK from 10 am to 7 pm ( GMT+0 time zone ).

— Full-time job (8 working hours per day, 5/2).

— Fully remote work. You may be located in almost any country or city, just need a laptop to work from, a great internet connection, and an opportunity to adjust your working hours with the schedule of the team in UK.
