Main responsibilities:
- Represent the Hotel Manager and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel
- To provide continuity of management in regards to emergency response and crisis handling – ensuring that staff and guests are aware of the situation and appropriate responses.
- To meet and greet VIP guests and to develop excellent relations with all guests.
- To have an understanding of the Front Office and accounting procedures in order to deal with financial issues and their resolution ensuring guest satisfaction whilst adhering to set procedures.
- To complete the End of Days Procedure of Opera computers, Prepare night audit reports for management.
- Eye for details, quality oriented, ability to maintain high standards, well organized with the ability to handle more than one task at a time.
- To give immediate attention to guest complaints, taking necessary remedial actions. Ascertain responsibilities and areas of improvement of all individuals concerned.
Requirements:
- Previous 2 years experience in similar role
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
