Community & PR Manager

Investbanq is an AI-powered wealth operating system for family offices, asset managers, and banks. We are empowering traditional financial institutions to rapidly transform into AI-driven WealthTech players, enabling them to effectively capitalize on the growing wealth transfer to affluent millennials and other digital natives across emerging Asia and MENA. We are scaling quickly across Asia and MENA and are assembling a high‑calibre engineering team to power our next phase of growth.

Role overview

The Community & PR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping InvestBanq's positive public image across its strategic markets, including Singapore, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia (Kazakhstan). You will be responsible for external communications, reputation management, event coordination, and fostering loyalty within both the professional B2B community (banks, Family Offices) and retail investors (B2C). This role requires a unique blend of strategic communication, content creation, networking, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

Brand & Reputation

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key business, financial, and tech media in target regions;

• Secure regular external publications (press releases, expert articles, founder columns) in Tier-1 and industry outlets to enhance brand visibility;

• Ensure consistency in the company's positioning, Tone of Voice, and key brand messaging across all external communication touchpoints.

Community & Outreach

• Develop and moderate professional communities (LinkedIn, Telegram, forums) for B2B clients and active retail investors;

• Manage and maintain a database of key community members for personalized engagement and tailored communications;

• Maintain and grow the database of partners, speakers, industry influencers, and media representatives;

• Support B2B lead generation by crafting personalized and targeted email campaigns to initiate contact with potential partners and clients (top-of-funnel).

Events & Growth Support

• Full coordination and logistics for InvestBanq's participation in key industry conferences, forums, and awards. Organize proprietary small-scale events and webinars​​​​​​;

• (Support Role): Provide content, insights, and PR momentum to support broader growth strategies led by the digital marketing team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in PR, External Communications, or Community Management, preferably within the FinTech, WealthTech, SaaS, or financial sector;
• Demonstrated experience or deep understanding of the media and professional landscape in Kazakhstan and/or Southeast Asia (Singapore);
• Excellent command of English and Russian (written and spoken), including impeccable copywriting skills for press releases and feature articles. Kazakh language proficiency is a strong advantage;
• Proven ability to build and nurture robust, long-term relationships with media personnel, key opinion leaders, and C-suite executives;
• Strong self-direction, high accountability for results, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, resource-constrained startup environment;
• Familiarity with CRM systems (for contact management) and marketing automation platforms (for email campaigns);
• A strong willingness and ability to integrate AI tools (e.g., GenAI for draft press releases, sentiment analysis) into daily workflows to drive greater efficiency and insight.
