Role: Investment Director
Salary: KZT 2,000,000+ net/month
Location: Almaty (in-office)
Reports to: Managing Partners
We are hiring an Investment Director to lead deal execution, portfolio management, and strategic fundraising initiatives. We’re looking for someone who can operate at Partner level in perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive sourcing, due diligence, and investment committee prep
• Lead deal execution: modeling, valuation, term sheet negotiation
• Monitor portfolio performance and support value creation / exits
• Represent the fund to LPs, partners, and at key ecosystem events
• Support ongoing fundraising
• Ensure accurate valuation updates and basic fund economics oversight
• Collaborate with CFO / fund admin on reporting, compliance
• Contribute to fund strategy and pipeline shaping
• Build firm visibility and network in Central Asia & beyond
Who We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years in VC/PE, investment banking, or fund strategy
• Strong grasp of fund mechanics, startup valuation, and financial modeling
• Comfort with accounting basics (IFRS)
• Confidence with LP/investor-facing communication
• A bias for action
• English & Russian fluency
Good to have:
• You’ve helped raise a fund, or sourced high-quality LPs
• You bring an existing network or visibility in the VC ecosystem
• You’re familiar with Kazakhstan/AIFC regulatory frameworks
