Senior Python Engineer (LLMs / Agentic Systems)

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer with 7+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in LLM-based and agentic systems. English level: B2 or higher is required for direct collaboration with founders and senior engineers.

This role suits engineers who are comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and building production-grade AI systems rather than experimental prototypes.

CleverLabs is a software development company specializing in building WEB and API applications since 2015. We work on long-term projects, developing products from scratch as part of distributed product teams. Our clients are based in the USA, the UK, EU, and MENA regions.

  • LLM-powered automation for analysis, code generation, QA, and integrations

  • Continuous improvement of AI workflows and reliability

• Engineering model:

  • Work is organized in 6-week goal-based cycles

  • Engineers own outcomes and define their own task breakdowns

Start date: From January 5, 2026 (or ASAP)
Engagement model: Team augmentation, fully embedded into the client’s internal team

Tech Stack

• Core language: Python

• LLM and agentic frameworks: LangChain, CrewAI, or similar solutions

• Cloud: Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable

• Database: Azure Cosmos DB (NoSQL)

• AI dev tools: Claude, Cursor IDE (experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve LLM-powered and agentic workflows.

• Build reliable AI systems with attention to quality, safety, and failure handling.

• Reduce manual work by improving AI automation quality and consistency.

• Take ownership of AI-related goals within each 6-week cycle.

• Collaborate closely with founding engineers on system design and architecture.

• Contribute to backend and platform development when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• English level B2 or higher, spoken and written.

• Strong Python expertise with production-grade systems.

• Proven experience building real-world LLM applications.

• Understanding of agentic patterns, orchestration, tools, and evaluation.

• Experience with LangChain, CrewAI, or equivalent architectures.

• Strong analytical thinking and system-level problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics, shipping, or integration-heavy domains.

• Background in automation-heavy or AI-first products.

• Experience scaling or hardening AI systems in production.
