IFRS Manager (Sudan)

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IFRS Manager to join our finance team in the mining sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing Group IFRS financial statements, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting management and auditors with high-quality financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly Group IFRS financial statements, including detailed notes and disclosures.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and relevance of statutory and management financial reporting.
• Coordinate and support external auditors (local and consolidation) during the annual audit.
• Provide technical accounting advice and guidance on complex or ad-hoc business matters.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting; ACCA, CFA, or CIMA certification preferred.
• Experience in the mining industry is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Previous experience with a Big Four firm is a plus.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, and communication skills.
