We are looking for an Estimating Team Lead to lead and manage our estimating team at an established U.S.-based interior glass partition company. The role will help scale the estimating function to support accelerated growth.
This role requires a strong people manager who can work closely with the team, build and optimize processes, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering and Operations. The position combines leadership, process ownership, and hands-on involvement in complex, high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the Estimating team with full responsibility for performance management, KPI definition and implementation, team evaluation, and the continuous development of skills, processes, and operational efficiency.

Build and own the estimating analytics framework, including dashboards and reporting on bid volume, estimate accuracy, variance drivers, and team performance.

Own the end-to-end estimation process, from initial scope review through final cost approval.

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve estimation standards, methodologies, and internal workflows.

Prepare and review accurate project cost estimates.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure pricing alignment with technical feasibility and project requirements.

Support Sales and Project Departments through pricing strategy input, cost breakdowns, and margin analysis.

Identify potential risks within estimates and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.

Review and approve complex and high-value estimates.

Monitor estimation accuracy and refine assumptions based on actual project outcomes.

Ensure transparency, consistency, and scalability of estimation practices across all projects.
Requirements

Proven experience in estimating, cost estimation or project costing within construction, architectural systems, engineering, or related industries.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams, including task assignment, performance evaluation, hiring, training and team development.

Experience working with custom, non-standardized products is considered a significant advantage.

Experience in the U.S. market is considered an advantage.

Strong understanding of cost structures, pricing principles, and estimation methodologies.

Ability to work with technical drawings, specifications, measurements, and scope documents.

Experience with estimation or project management tools.

High attention to detail combined with strong big-picture thinking.

Advanced spoken English (C1).
