Job Title: Head of Product and Pack Innovation and Development / Руководитель группы по разработке новых продуктов и упаковки, R&D (Laundry & Home Care)
Reports to: Head of R&D
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Product and Pack Innovation team ensuring high level of expertise and engagement in the team
- Support short- and long-term innovation processes: develop new and improve existing products in accordance with product briefs, ensure R&D deliverables in innovation projects are prepared in time and in full
- Conduct required laboratory tests, participate in consumer testing of new products
- Create, deploy, and improve relevant processes (discovery of product ideas, problem solving and risk assessments, product/project handover, etc.)
- Identify and sharpen ideas for new launches through partnering with internal colleagues, use of external network/experts/suppliers, competitors’ analysis etc.
- Participate in development of business product innovation strategy
- Represent R&D Innovation and Development team at relevant internal/external forums
- Ensure relevant master data (specifications, recipes, etc.) is created in time and is kept up to date
Requirements:
- Higher chemical/technical education
- 5+ years of experience on a similar position preferably in large international FMCG companies
- English – Upper-Intermediate and higher
- Solid experience in people and team management
- Proven track record of successful development and launches of new products/pack formats, improvement of their performance and quality
- Familiar with Stage-Gate process
- Working experience with Laundry and Home Care products (detergents, softeners, cleaners etc.) will be a significant advantage
- Skilled in priorities setting, stakeholders’ management, conflict management, with high level customer focus and standing alone capabilities.
