Tashkent University of Technology (ToshTech) is a newly established, internationally oriented technical university in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, offering engineering education in partnership with leading international institutions. The University invites applications from qualified candidates for the following full-time faculty position.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will teach General Physics I (Mechanics), including kinematics, dynamics, energy, and momentum, together with the accompanying laboratory sessions. The position also includes course preparation, student mentoring, assessment, and participation in departmental and university activities.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, or Engineering Physics
- Experience teaching mechanics and supervising undergraduate physics laboratories
- Ability to design and assess lab-based learning activities
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory sessions as required by the course
- Develop syllabi, assessments, and course materials aligned with program learning outcomes
- Advise and mentor students; hold regular office hours
- Engage in curriculum development, departmental service, and continuous improvement of teaching quality
- Contribute to the University's research and academic community where applicable
