AWS Cloud Architect

Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect for a potential position to work for a e-commerce long-term project.

We offer 100% remote, full-time work with a flexible schedule

Main Tasks:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
• Architect and optimize data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, and Databricks
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to build scalable APIs and services
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud environments
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain and evolve the data lake and relational database architecture

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AWS Architect, with strong understanding of AWS services and best practices
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform and the broader Infrastructure-as-Code ecosystem
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in PySpark and Apache Spark
• Familiarity with Databricks is strongly preferred
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks will be a plus
• Solid understanding of relational databases
• Knowledge of data lake architectures and modern data storage solutions
• AWS Certification is a major plus and highly valued
• Strong spoken English (Intermediate level and higher)
